We never claim to auto-submit to every insurer invisibly. Insurers vary — Pawback does as much as technically possible for each one, and is always transparent about which method it’s using.

Privacy
Your bill image is sent to our OCR proxy to extract the text fields — and deleted immediately after. We never store your bill images on our servers. Anthropic's API does not retain images past the request.
Your pet records, insurer details, and claim history are stored locally on your iPhone. You can optionally back up and restore them through your own iCloud Drive via the Files app. Not our servers.
We run anonymous product analytics (PostHog) and crash diagnostics (Sentry) to keep the app working. We don't sell data, run ad trackers, or share anything with insurers beyond what you file.
If you go Pro, Apple handles the billing via RevenueCat. We see 'is Pro?' — not your card or billing address.
